The Journey to Journey

Nov 23, 2012

Journey Grande Prairie This Saturday, November 24th, the Peace Country will welcome Journey with ‘Open Arms’ as they hit the stage at the Crystal Centre. The show is set to be a classic-rock double bill with Canadian rockers Loverboy, and if ticket sales are indication, we are sure this concert will be one to remember.

Since its formation in 1973 in San Francisco, Journey has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 gold and platinum albums. The band's Greatest Hits album is certified 15 times platinum, bringing Journey into the elite club of Diamond-certified album holders.

With their trademark red leather pants and bandandas, Loverboy will also be taking the stage. The band's huge rock sound and high-energy live shows have contributed to their selling of more than 10 million albums and helped them earn multi-platinum plaques for their solid rock albums.

Playing childhood anthems that span over four decades, Journey featuring Loverboy will certainly set the Peace on fire this Saturday!
