The Sweet Sound of Tupelo Honey

Feb 27, 2013

Tupelo Honey Grande Prairie This weekend in the Peace Country, residents will be treated to the sweet sounds of Tupelo Honey. The band will be playing in both Fort St. John, March 1, and Grande Prairie, March 2.

Forming in 2003 within the hallways at Grant MacEwan, the band met as classmates and took their love for rock from there. Ten years later, Tupelo Honey is still revered as one of Edmonton’s most promising alternative band, becoming major contenders in the local music scene as well as on a national level.

Tupelo Honey has done countless cross-Canada tours to maintain a presence in the music industry, and remain a fan favorite. The band seems to be best-known for their song ‘Can’t Stop’, which was chosen by the Edmonton Journal as the newspaper’s official hockey rock anthem.

Tupelo Honey has become one of those great Canadian bands that keep pumping out real music and keep connected with their fans through continuous touring and promotion.
