Up For A Talent Show?
Mar 18, 2013
Dead Silence might be an improbable state for one of Canada’s top rock bands, but that’s what brings back Billy Talent to Dawson Creek tonight, March 18.
Billy Talent, who last toured through the Peace Region in 2010, has been building on success internationally with this album. One cannot help but marvel at the band’s YouTube video of over 100,000 fans singing along to ‘Viking Death March’, the first track that was released from Billy Talent’s fourth album, Dead Silence.
The band has toured for almost 20 years, travelling thousands of miles in vans, buses and planes turning these four guys from Mississauga into more than just a band, but a family. Billy Talent has become a tight brotherhood that continues to challenge and tackle any obstacle in front of them.
Armed with countless awards including Juno Awards, MTV Awards, and a handful of MuchMusic Video Awards, the band has persevered and climbed from musical cult-obscurity to household name.
Taking a page from the punk-rock playbook, you can expect this concert to be jammed with razor-sharp lyrics and incendiary guitar hooks.
