Flying High in Fort St. John

FSJ International Air Show All eyes will be to the skies this weekend, July 26 & 27, in Fort St. John for the International Air Show.

The Snowbirds and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s CF-18 demonstration team, among others, are all in town.

Now they’re just waiting for an audience.

The 2013 FSJ International Air Show is set to soar high Saturday and Sunday at the Fort St. John Airport and organizers are hoping to attract a range of spectators from around the Peace Region during the two-day event.

The main group of performers includes the famed nine-plane Snowbirds demo team, the CF-18 demo team, Dan Buchanan, Jerry Stryz, Harmon Rockets, Kent Pietsch, Pete McLeod, The AV8FX Team and the Super Dave Air Show.

Along with the air show, there will be other family activities to participate in and view, including a display of various planes and flyer paraphernalia.

This kind of event generates huge excitement for local communities and is perfect for the whole family, rain or shine.
