Come One, Come Fall
Aug 13, 2013
You may not be ready for fall yet, but soon the lush green trees in the peace country will start to turn that gorgeous golden hue that comes with autumn.
Another tell-tale sign of the season ending is when the Peace celebrates various fall fairs around the region; a longstanding tradition of young and old alike.
The traditional fall fair highlights local agriculture and visitors can expect to enjoy a unique rural community experience. At the fair, one can expect to see local livestock and agriculture, numerous artwork displays, canning displays and food sampling, with some modern draws such as, bouncy castles and obstacle courses.
These fairs are much more community based than the typical thrill-seeker midway carnival, that so many are used to nowadays.
Fall fairs are wonderful for the whole family to enjoy some of the finer, yet simpler things that these communities have to offer.
This weekend on the We Go North calendar there just happens to be three fall fairs in the calendar, whether you hit up all three or just one, we guarantee it will be a good time.
