Take Part in Crime Prevention Week
May 17, 2012
The City of Grande Prairie has designated this week as Crime Prevention Week to raise awareness and continually create a stronger, healthier community.
Grande Prairie Crime Prevention began in 2004 and has inspired individuals and communities to address and reduce crime. Crime Prevention has 17 varied initiatives all which impact our communities in a positive way, such as Graffiti Management and Report a Drug House.
The Crime Prevention program encourages neighbour to neighbour communication; residents are also encouraged to raise awareness of any issues in their community.
This evening Grande Prairie Crime Prevention is giving citizens an opportunity to find out more about their programs and partners.
