Oct 2, 2014

fall show, fall home & leisure show, peace country fall, peace country fall show, fall home show, fall leisure showIt may have just officially turned fall on the calendar, but in the great outdoors, winter is already nipping at autumn’s heels. Understandably, our thoughts can start to turn to the long months to come, cooped-up indoors, surrounded by the same old furniture, and the same old colours, on the same old walls …

If you’re starting to get tired of the same old surroundings, it might just be time for a change of scenery. If you can’t quite swing a trip to the Bahamas, though, you can get some great ideas for ways to change the scenery at home this weekend at the Fall Home & Leisure Show in Grande Prairie. From October3 - 5, the ENTREC Centre in Evergreen Park will be home to the show. This year has an exciting line-up which is sure to impress as well as be informative.

Not only will she be providing down-to-earth advice and design ideas, she’ll also be giving demonstrations of those ideas as she puts them into action on-stage. Other demonstrations will includeCHiKSDesign Group’s “From DIY to Don’t Ever Do This Yourself”, “The Art of Dough Stretching” fromFamosoPizza, and presentations by Sunset Gourmet and Faithful Fitness. There will also be more than 40 exhibitors this year, covering industries from furniture anddécorto health, wellness, and general pampering. For a printable stage show schedule, click here.

You’ll have an opportunity to win exciting door prizes like the Podollan Inn & the L Spa’s Grand Prize Houseboat Trip in Salmon Arm, BC as well as Made in the Shade Blinds and Aquaterra prize packages valued over $1500.
