Apr 12, 2012

Easter Extravaganza 2012 Grande PrairieThis past Saturday families from all over the Peace Region hunted for brightly colored eggs all over Muskoseepi Park for the annual Easter Extravaganza! Children were delighted by the festive games and treats that were on hand, from cookie decorating to the carrot toss there was a little something for everyone.

Q99 funny man Paul Ouellette was on hand with the Q cruiser as well as volunteers from many other Grande Prairie organizations such as 4H and Rotaract, assisting the hard-working Muskoseepi staff run the event smoothly.

This year approximately 1100 children attended with upwards of 3500 parents at any given time, unless you were one of the Easter-savvy parents who purchased pre passports allowing an hour early admittance to the Extravaganza.

Carla Wells, Program and Event Manager at Muskoseepi Park says there was positive feedback from the community about this year’s event.
