British Columbia is well known for once-in-a-lifetime fishing opportunities, and the Dawson Creek area is no exception. Walleye, northern pike and rainbow trout are the most common species you’ll find, but there are also opportunities to catch yellow perch, whitefish, Arctic grayling and a number of other species. You must be in possession of an appropriate British Columbia fishing license. There are number of rivers, lakes and streams in the Dawson Creek area that provide a unique angling experience.

Description

Foot Lake, sometimes called Boot Lake, is a little more off the beaten path. To reach it, follow the John Hart Highway west out of Dawson Creek. Turn left (south) on Highway 52. Foot Lake is located 64 km southwest of Dawson Creek. The lake is stocked with brook and rainbow trout every year.
