Moberly Lake Provincial Park is just a short drive to the north of Chetwynd. Drive 30 kilometers on Highway 29 to find the park entrance. It’s open for the tourist season from May through October. There’s a boat launch and a place to enjoy a picnic during the day. Fishing is available year round (ice fishing in the winter).

Gwillim Lake Provincial Park is south from Chetwynd along Highway 29. There’s a boat launch available, and fishermen can try their hand at catching northern pike and lake char. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Chetwynd, and offers a chance to enjoy the scenic views in the area.

The Moberly Lake Golf Course is located within Moberly Lake Provincial Park. Take a 20-minute drive north of Chetwynd along the banks of Moberly Lake to find the course. It’s a 9-hole semi-private offering with beautiful lake views, located off Highway 29.
